40/18. DATA PROTECTION REGULATIONS
(1) That the Parish Council ask to be included in HALC’s Data Protection Officer scheme.
(2) That the following be adopted:
(a) Privacy notice
(b) General private notice
(d) Subject access policy
(3) NALC Standing Orders 2018
41/18. NEW AUDIT REGULATIONS
RESOLVED that the Parish Council certify itself as exempt from a limited assurance review as income or expenditure did not exceed £25,000 in 2017/2018. The certificate was signed by the Chairman and Responsible Financial Officer.
New Financial Regulations would be issued shortly which would need to be adopted by the Parish Council.
RESOLVED to ask HALC to provide an internal auditor.
The Clerk had given notice that she would be finishing employment with the Parish Council on 30 June 2018.
RESOLVED to increase the Clerk’s hours to 10 hours per week.
RESOLVED to use HALC’s recruitment services.
RESOLVED to adopt SLCC grievance procedure.
43/18. ANY OTHER ITEMS – FOR INFORMATION ONLY
Mr Williams had received a request from Fownhope to support them in a WWI event they had planned on 29 July 2018. Agreed the Parish Council would be happy to support this event. Mr Hince and Mrs Fleuchars agreed to organise the event in Holme Lacy. Mr Hince would reply to Fownhope. The Parish Council would be prepared to order a Silent Soldier, to be delivered to Mr Bishop, and pay for the refreshments. To go on the next Parish Council agenda.
The tree was looking very overgrown. Clerk to ask for the grass to be cut.
There being no other business the meeting was closed.
